JACKSON FUN & FIELD DAY - MATHEMATICAL COURTYARD RIBBON CUTTING - MAY 31, 2014
Jackson Magnet School - Altadena, CA.  The Jackson Fun & Field Day and Mathematical Courtyard was conceived, planned and produced by a handful of Jackson parents determined to help raise funds and awareness of the need for the empty Jackson playground to have equipment & activities.  
It was a huge success!  The power of parents!!!!

SPECIAL SUPPORTERS:  Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard - Scott Phelps, President Pasadena School Board cut the ribbon to formally open the Mathematical Courtyard - Elizabeth Pomeroy & Kim Kenne, Pasadena School Board Members - Kahlil Harrington, Ann Rector & Alison Val, Pasadena Unified School District - Bill Creim, Pasadena Educational Foundation - Wendy Anderson representing Pasadena Rotary Club & alumni of Jackson - Roberta Martinez, Latino Heritage and was one of Jackson's Principal for a Day - Anthony Portantino, former Assemblymember in the 44th district led the Math Scavenger Hunt in the new Mathematical Courtyard and 
the LA County Fire Department.
