This is the beautiful Piera & Giuseppe's Wedding Anniversary day: an italian couple with 50 years together and a party to celebrate their renewal vows and their happiness of their lives.
The amazing location is Best Western Villa Appiani in Trezzo sull'Adda, next to Milan, an historical Villa full of charm now hotel. With its strategic location along the river Adda, Trezzo boasts ancient origins and almost all those who marked the history of northern Italy passed this way: the celts, the early romans, the longobards. The Visconteo castle is one of the marvels of Trezzo and it is also a symbol of the city, it was constructed in 1300. There are many patrician villas in the area around Trezzo sull’Adda; the oldest and most interesting are those to be found along the river close to the edges of the medieval castle. In Trezzo you can find Leonardo Da Vinci's museum too!
In this charming location we had a beautiful Anniversary party organized by Italian Style Event & Wedding.
Guests could see romantic pictures - in black and white! - when the couple were still engaged and on the dinner tables, inside glass jars, they found old pictures of the marriage celebrated 50 years before. ...tears of emotion!
The bride came down the stairs on a red carpet with her son while the groom was waiting for her with a scented bouquet of pink roses.
The couple renewed their promises exchanging new gold rings in front of excited friends and family. The beautiful wedding cake decorated with big golden roses was realized by the same Italian Pastry Chef of the recent George Clooney's marriage and the bride's wedding dress was handmade in precious lace.
The serenade played with accordion is an italian tradition: the groom dedicates love and traditional songs to her bride. It's so romantic!
An elegant golden candy table was set up with traditional Italian almonds sugar (confetti) from Sicily. As wedding favor a wooden heart with a lace bow.
